"The Memphis Grizzlies have finalized the opening night entertainment at the FedEx Forum. To open the season the Grizzlies will have Memphis artists Academy award winning Three 6 Mafia, American Idol Finalist Lil Rounds and JabbaWockeez, America's Best Dance Crew, performing.
Opening night will also be the first Beale Street Blue-Out Game as the first 10,000 fans in attendance will receive Beale St Blue T-Shirts presented by First Tennessee in honor of the new third alternate uniform that the Grizzlies will be wearing.
'Every night of the season we try to give fans a truly memorable basketball and entertainment experience, and Opening night is the one game that sets the tone to do just that" said Grizzlies President of Business Operations Greg Campbell. "From the excitement of our team taking the floor for the first time in their new alternate uniforms to the atmosphere that the diverse talents of Three 6 Mafia, the JabbaWockeez and Lil Rounds will bring to FedEx Forum, this will be a night that all of our fans decked out in Beale St Blue will know that they are part of Grizz Nation.'
Three 6 Mafia and JabbaWockeez will perform during the player introductions and Lil Rounds will sing the National Anthem.
